Client Description:

This is a unique opportunity to join an established international bank and support its EMEA activities as the person in charge of ERM. Working closely with the risk and finance team and reporting to the head of the risk, you will be given autonomy and offered a large diversity of responsibilities.

  • Implementation and monitor the entire Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP): 
  • Establishment of the climate risk framework in compliance with the circular CSSF 21/773.
  • Regulatory watch in coordination with the EMEA Capital team and Compliance team, related to the Bank's risk management.
  • Oversight and risk drafting of other prudential reports: Pillar III, Long-Form Report, Contingency Funding Plan under prevailing CSSF circulars.
  • Oversight and review of all-risk policies (credit, liquidity & investment, FX & trading…) and drafting and maintenance of complementary local policies (notably the model review policy).
  • Production and presentation of internal reports to EMEA governing bodies / Senior Management on prudential risk and compliance.

Candidate Profile:

  • University degree in economics or finance, ideally completed with a certification (FRM/CFA)
  • A first solid experience in Risk Management with a proven track record of managing prudential matters: ICAAP, ILAAP, SREP, Recovery, Resolutions …
  • Strong understanding of the asset services, fund administration and related regulations
  • Sound knowledge of the circular CSSF 12/552
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, the knowledge of French would be a strong asset
