  • Actively reaching out to merchants (B2B sales) from a myriad of verticals you have (or soon will have) acquaintance with (e.g. home & garden, fashion, technology,healthcare, services, etc.), be they online or offline (yes, we're omnichannel!);
  • Preparing pitches, demos and communications to merchants (incl. event attendance) to ensure conveyance of our value proposition, adjusted to their needs;
  • Ensuring adequate merchant onboarding, accompanying them in the KYB process, as well as activation (e.g. training them on product features available to improve performance in their different channels, incl. In-store, multiple geographies, etc.)
  • Organizing and monitoring your pipeline on Hubspot in an extremely methodical and dynamic way, also structuring feedback to provide to our Product Team (e.g.features desired by merchants, helping prioritization of developments, etc.); and
  • Finding the best methods to optimize sales processes, incl. sequence automation, commercial proposal preps, leveraging our internal tools to liaise efficiently with other teams with whom you- ll work closely (e.g. Tech, R&C, Legal, Operations, etc.)


Being a Business Development Representative Spain requires a wide skill set and a high level of energy:

  • Sales appetite: you are passionate about sales, always motivated to get the next deal closed and able to sell a product keeping in mind roadmap prioritization
  • Strong communication skills: you are very at ease when interacting with prospects, clients or any stakeholders of the industry, and you always ensure the appropriate level of reporting internally
  • Impact driven: you always keep a close eye on your KPIs and make sure you achieve growth and hit sales targets on time
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you are not afraid of taking sales responsibility for a new company in your market and getting your hands dirty
  • Solution oriented: you create feedback loops with merchants and end consumers in your market to continuously improve our product, discussing with the Sales Manager and General Manager of Spain on priority features we should roll out

Your experience:

  • You have +5-7 years experience as a sales executive with proven track record in the payment and/or tech industry
  • You already have worked in an international and multicultural context, and you are fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish
