Opportunity:

This is an interesting opportunity to join an important player in the upscale hospitality industry.

To expand the Sales Department, we al looking for a Director of Sales Trade 

Main duties:

  • Ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the properties;
  • create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers and the market for the segment;
  • provides positive and aggressive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential;
  • analyze market information by using sales systems and implements strategy to achieve property’s financial room;
  • creates opportunities to grow the account base through customer interactions;
  • prepare account performance reports quarterly and annually, conduct semi-annual account review meetings with account representatives, where existing;
  • attend all applicable daily, weekly and/or monthly department or hotel meetings to ensure proper communication and planning;
  • be an ambassador of culture and values of the company and properties of the group, with passion and deep personal involvement;
  • maintain accurate and legible records and files to provide sales history and continuity of quality service
Requirement:
  • 5+ years of experience in an Upscale Hospitality Company (Resort, no city hotel) in a Director Position;
  • relevant portfolio of National and International Travel Agencies / Tour Operators with proven relationships / client database;
  • solid knowledge of TAs /TOs Italian, European (France, Germany, Spain, Swiss, Belgium, Poland, Netherlands), UK e US Markets;
  • strong numerical skills with competencies in Data Analyisis, KPI Definition and Monitoring, Revenue Pricing Strategy for Trade Segments, Trade Marketing & Communication Planning, Digital Oriented,
  • team Management (at least 5 people);
  • Italian and English fluent, French will be a plus.
